Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Construction Project Coordinator to oversee various projects. In this role, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial bidding to final completion and close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering essential bid documents, developing a project plan matrix, engaging subcontractors, and managing project bids
  • Establishing timelines, securing necessary permits and licenses
  • Formulating project budgets
  • Addressing safety protocols, project specifics, and material lead times
  • Maintaining daily communication with stakeholders regarding schedules, modifications, options, and potential challenges
  • Adjusting budgets, approving invoices, ensuring timely payments to subcontractors, and conducting site inspections
  • Finalizing punch lists, processing final payments to subcontractors, collecting lien waivers, and preparing necessary documentation for project closure

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Aptitude for building collaborative relationships with clients
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Local residency or readiness to relocate is necessary

Educational Background and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction is required
  • A degree in Construction Science or a related field is preferred
  • LEED and PMP certifications are advantageous
  • Experience in project management covering all aspects of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, resources, and communication
  • Experience in ground-up construction within sectors such as banking, automotive, medical, self-storage, or the restaurant industry is preferred

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
