Job Summary

Hose Master LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the design, development, and implementation of custom electrical equipment used in the manufacturing of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Design and develop custom electrical equipment, including electrical controls and drive systems, to meet the needs of our manufacturing processes.
  • Manufacturing and Operations: Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, communicate with operators and leads to diagnose problems or implement improvements, and verify safe operating conditions.
  • Technical Specialist: Provide technical expertise and support to the manufacturing team, including training operators and leads on new equipment releases and handling confidential information.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma with a minimum of 10 years of experience; or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Skills: Familiarization with PLC programming and CAD, electrical design and troubleshooting skills, good basic math skills, and ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Competencies: Safety, decision making, planning and organizing, quality, communication, values trust and integrity, analysis and problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and kneel.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
