We are seeking a talented Graphical User Interface Developer to craft an innovative interface for a cutting-edge Guidance Product. This contract position is crucial for a significant project, and the selected candidate will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for applications.
  • Translate design concepts into a functional Graphical User Interface, focusing on typography, layout, imagery, page integration, and overall user experience.
  • Evaluate the appearance and functionality of data across various browsers and platforms (Windows, Linux, and mobile devices) and screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that designs are technically viable and fulfill project requirements.
  • Stay informed about design trends and best practices, integrating them into your work.
  • Ensure compliance with standards through thorough reviews of developed pages.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and team members.
Job Requirements

Minimum Security Clearance: Bondable

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design within software product or consulting environments.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
  • Strong knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Fluency in programming languages like Python and C/C++.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
  • Ability to create custom graphics and icons tailored to business needs.
  • Experience in developing graphic data models and visual representations.
  • Work collaboratively with back-end developers to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that prioritize user simplicity.
  • Capability to assess and enhance the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of products.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities, along with strong collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases is advantageous.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., SIP, VoIP) is a plus.
  • A portfolio showcasing your UI design projects is preferred.
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
