Job Title: NDT Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician to join our team at Industrial Inspection & Analysis in St. Louis, MO.

As an NDT Technician, you will perform hands-on Non-Destructive Testing and Examination (NDT / NDE) at customer sites and/or IIA business locations in support of IIA projects. A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is strongly preferred. You will assess the integrity of the item inspected with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications; and report the results to the applicable personnel.

This is a full-time position that will support a minimum of 40 hours per week. If NDT work is not available, you will support other areas of the lab to ensure 40 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures, laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Perform day-to-day and routine safety observations and inspections.
  • Own personal and overall job site safety stopping the job if required due to unsafe conditions or lack of compliance to quality requirements.
  • Complete applicable job reports and other paperwork as required/instructed on or before the required date as communicated by the applicable IIA representative.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of physical NDT principles, processes, and limitations.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) strongly preferred.
