Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lube Technician to join our team at Vann Gannaway Chevrolet. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing lube-related services for customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform lube oil filter services in a professional manner and perform vehicle inspections as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service for all customers, whether external or internal, and offer dependable vehicle service.
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and maintain the work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager and have the 'lube' work finished within the allotted time.
  • Set goals, develop skills, and constantly increase efficiency skill level.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized.
  • Ensure proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion.
  • Keep technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs.
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaner when the job is completed than when the customer dropped it off.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to meet company production and quality standards.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Move throughout the company facility for most of the shift.
    • Spend time outdoors in the weather and elements.
    • Stand for prolonged periods.
    • Walk on a regular basis.
    • Bend, twist, and/or stoop on a regular basis.
    • Kneel and/or squat on a regular basis.
    • Lift over 50 lbs on a regular basis.
    • Reach and/or lift overhead on a regular basis.
    • Climb stairs.
    • Repetitive hand/finger movement on a regular basis.
    • Grasp/grab with hands on a regular basis.
    • Push and pull on a regular basis.
