Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to fulfill a travel contract role, specializing in pediatric care. This position requires expertise in critical care settings, particularly with neonates and infants.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, NBRC-RRT, WA RCP
  • Experience: Must possess PICU or NICU experience, along with a background in intensive care.
Job Details
  • Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Holiday Contract
  • Orientation: Scheduled for Mondays
  • Contract Duration: Must conclude in January
  • RTO: Required to be included in the initial submission for approval
  • On Call: Not required
  • Weekend Work: Possible
  • Floating: Required across all inpatient areas
Job Requirements
  • Patient Population: Experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents is essential.
  • Critical Care Experience: Required experience in PICU or NICU settings.
  • Skills: Proficiency in airways management, medication administration, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulization, BiPAP, and CPAP.
Additional Information
  • I-9: Required for all placements.
  • Everify: Mandatory for all placements.
  • Compact License: Required if using a compact license that is not WA.
  • Preferred Experience: Background in a children's hospital setting.
  • Systems: Familiarity with EPIC is advantageous.
