Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and position materials or items on shelves or racks in accordance with company standards.
- Perform assembly, cutting, drilling, and packaging of custom steel supports for the Fabrication Department.
- Unpack boxes, crates, and other containers as necessary.
- Secure completed pallets with shrink wrap.
- Extract products from sealed pallets.
- Ensure quality control within the warehouse and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Efficiently execute orders from the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Assemble products as required at a consistent and efficient pace.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a factory or manufacturing setting
- Mechanical aptitude for assembly tasks
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work effectively on an assembly line
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift operation experience for warehouse duties
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be capable of pushing, pulling, and frequently lifting and/or moving objects weighing between 10-50 lbs., and occasionally lifting objects up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, and maintain balance.
Additional Requirements:
- The successful candidate must pass a background check.
