Position Summary: Are you a skilled Class A CDL truck operator seeking a regional driving position that allows for regular home time? As a Southeast Regional Truck Driver, you will have the opportunity to be on the road for 8 days, followed by a 34-hour reset at home, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

Primary Duties:

  • Safely drive a tractor-trailer to deliver goods throughout the Southeast region, covering states such as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety.
  • Effectively communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members to ensure prompt deliveries.
  • Maintain precise electronic logs (ELDs) for cargo, routes, and driving hours.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
  • A minimum of 6 months of recent, verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer.
  • Clean driving history with no significant violations in the last three years.
  • Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and drug screening.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
