Heavy Equipment Inspector

At H&E Equipment Services, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Inspector to join our team in the Rental Division. As an essential member of our operations team, you will be responsible for inspecting various heavy equipment product lines to ensure they meet our high standards.
This role requires attention to detail and a thorough understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will work closely with our service teams to identify any issues or defects and perform necessary repairs to get our equipment back on the road quickly.
As a successful candidate, you will have prior experience working with heavy equipment, knowledge of safety protocols, and excellent communication skills. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality equipment is available to our customers, we encourage you to apply.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting heavy equipment to identify any damage or defects
- Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
- Collaborating with our service teams to resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections and repairs
- Providing exceptional customer service and support
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required at all times
- Knowledgeable in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of aerial, earthmoving, and general equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Safety-conscious attitude toward all assigned tasks
