Position Summary:

ASAP Personnel is in search of a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall functionality and aesthetic of the property through various maintenance responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Routine Maintenance:
    Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.
    Perform preventive maintenance to prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
    Handle repairs and upkeep of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  2. Apartment Repairs:
    Respond to resident repair requests in a timely and effective manner.
    Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, doors, and windows as necessary.
    Carry out drywall repairs, painting, and touch-ups.
  3. Grounds Maintenance:
    Ensure the grounds are well-kept by mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and clearing debris.
    Maintain the functionality of irrigation systems.
    Perform snow removal during winter months.
  4. Safety Management:
    Quickly identify and address safety hazards.
    Adhere to all safety protocols during maintenance tasks.
    Report any unsafe conditions to management.
  5. Communication:
    Maintain clear communication with residents regarding maintenance schedules and access to their units.
    Work collaboratively with property management to prioritize and organize maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in general maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and manual labor.
