    JOB SUMMARY

    The primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of products from the warehouse to various clients, adhering to customer invoices and company standards during delivery and unloading.
    • Top earners can make up to $150,000

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Unload products from the trailer, either manually or using a hand cart, in all weather conditions, placing them in designated storage areas as per customer specifications and company standards.
    • Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with established company and governmental guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
    • Adhere to food safety protocols, maintaining proper temperatures and sanitary conditions in the delivery vehicle and during the unloading process.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school may substitute for a high school diploma.
    CERTIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

    Skills in: long-distance driving, navigating various terrains and weather conditions, customer communication, problem-solving, and product delivery.

    Ability to: operate a tractor-trailer unit day and night, remain alert, meet productivity standards, handle hazardous materials, and perform basic math functions.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. Frequently required to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds by hand and push/pull up to 250 pounds with a hand cart; climb in and out of a tractor and trailer; reach to stack and unstack pallets; bend and twist while loading and unloading products.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate may encounter while performing the essential functions of the job.
    • Occasional exposure to wet, hot, extreme cold, and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and confined spaces. Typically works an overnight schedule, including weekends and holidays.
