Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Renal Dialysis Unit at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with renal disease, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering lab tests, consulting with physicians, and communicating with family members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee.
  • At least 6 months of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in renal dialysis or a related field.
