Truck Driver CDL B Home Daily Job Description

Ryder is seeking a qualified Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Braintree, MA. As a SOLO driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations in the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Provide a valid Class B CDL and endorsements
  • At least 9 months of experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years
