About the Job

TotalMed Allied is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to fill a long-term position in Roanoke, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI
  • 1+ year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
