Receptionist for Optometry Practice

The role of the Receptionist in our optometry practice involves delivering exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a warm and welcoming environment for patients.
- Handling incoming calls and scheduling appointments efficiently.
- Assisting patients with the check-in and check-out processes.
- Coordinating patient flow and addressing inquiries regarding insurance coverage and benefits.
We seek a detail-oriented individual who excels at multitasking and thrives in a collaborative environment. A minimum of one year of experience in the optical field is preferred. Familiarity with OfficeMate software is a plus.
Optometric Technician ResponsibilitiesAs an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Managing patient flow and gathering medical histories.
- Conducting preliminary tests such as NCT, Auto Refraction, and acuity assessments.
- Administering specialized tests including Optomap, OCTs, Visual Fields, and Digital Retinal Photography.
- Overseeing the ordering and dispensing of contact lenses.
Ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service skills and a strong team-oriented mindset. A minimum of one year of experience in the optical field is required, and proficiency with Eyefinity EHR is advantageous.
