Worship Leader

The Fuller Theological Seminary is seeking a skilled Worship Leader to join our team. This position requires a strong musical and pastoral leadership presence in assigned chapel services, both online and in-person. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong ability to read charts and play a musical instrument.

• Plan and lead worship services for both residential and online campuses using Planning Center Online
• Select and lead music for Chapel services, including rehearsal and preparation of charts and arrangements for musicians
• Participate in evaluating and brainstorming all service plans during Monday Morning Meetings

• Must be a current Fuller student, Fuller learner, or alumni of Fuller
• Capacity to learn quickly and desire to expand knowledge of worship music and worship design
• Experience leading worship in diverse contexts is highly desired
• Ability to write, design, and create liturgy preferred
• Proficient with Google Calendar, Google Docs, CCLI/Song Select, and Planning Center Online
• Able to transport materials and equipment up to 20 pounds

• All applicants selected will need to participate in a musical audition
• Must be willing to attend a 1-day training/organization retreat in the Fall (date TBD)
• Candidates must make a commitment for the entire school year (available Monday mornings, 9:30 – 11:30; Wednesday mornings from 8:00 –11:30; Friday mornings from 8:30 – 11:30)
