Job Summary

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor will provide high-quality, individualized care to patients struggling with opioid use disorder. This role involves conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including initial assessments and follow-up evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and make referrals to other programs or facilities as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services to patients, ensuring their individualized quality care.
  • Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, facilitating communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a social or health services field from an accredited college or university.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in an addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment.
  • Licenses/Certifications: CADC, LADC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or candidate.
