Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Humanities department at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Humanities, including transfer, general education, vocational, and occupational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Humanities, including lectures, discussions, and assignments
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Humanities or a related field
  • Experience teaching Humanities courses at the community college level
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
