The InsideHigherEd team is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Radiation Therapy professional to join our faculty. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in the field of radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop curriculum in radiation therapy, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare and provide students with course outlines that support learning objectives, develop and measure learning outcomes, and assess student performance.
- Create an effective learning environment through the use of various instructional methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on training.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and assess learning outcomes, participate in program reviews, and revise curriculum as needed.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field of radiation therapy and instructional methods.
- Contribute to the development of program promotional materials and support the college's goals.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Have a strong background in radiation therapy, including clinical experience and knowledge of industry-related software and systems.
- Be certified in radiation therapy and in good standing with the ARRT.
- Have a strong understanding of learning theory and pedagogy.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
Current criminal record and child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College.
