Job Title: Block Advisors Tax Advisor

At H&R Block, we're seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team of experts. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional tax preparation, audit support, and tax planning services to our clients.

About the Role:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, helping them navigate complex tax situations.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, applying your expertise to provide the best possible service to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, driving continuous improvement in our tax services.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
