Position Overview

Role: Full-Time Coffee Specialist

Schedule: Monday through Friday - Enjoy weekends off

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Compensation: $16 per hour

The Coffee Specialist is tasked with providing exceptional customer service during the checkout process, managing cash and credit transactions, and educating customers about our coffee offerings. Responsibilities also include restocking snacks and beverages and maintaining a clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service by being attentive, approachable, and courteous.
• Operate the point of sale system; process payments via cash, checks, credit cards, or electronic transfers.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas.
• Restock snacks and maintain cooler inventory as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the checkout and beverage areas, performing general cleaning duties.
• Assist customers by providing information and recommendations.
• Collaborate with and take direction from the Chef Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience handling cash.
• Experience in a food service or coffee shop environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Team-oriented and dependable.

Pay Frequency: Weekly - Direct Deposit
