ROLE OVERVIEW

We are in search of a meticulous and well-organized Logistics Coordinator to support our operations. In this role, you will leverage various software tools to manage queues and finalize outstanding tasks, playing a vital role in the effective delivery of our security devices and components to their intended destinations. Your main duties will involve coordinating shipping logistics, collaborating with transportation firms, and addressing intricate transportation challenges to guarantee prompt and efficient delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the shipping of security devices and components, ensuring precise packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Work in partnership with logistics providers to schedule and organize transportation, taking into account timing, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for logistics companies, supplying necessary information and resolving any shipping-related issues that may arise.
  • Identify and resolve complex transportation challenges, including delays, rerouting, and other logistical hurdles.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of components for repair or replacement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address any logistical concerns or special requests.
  • Place orders for necessary components and manage their delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to effectively engage with logistics providers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Adept at analyzing and resolving complex logistical issues with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including experience with shipping software, inventory management systems, and MS Office tools.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities, schedules, and unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Familiarity with logistics and transportation operations, including experience in coordinating shipments and collaborating with logistics providers is advantageous.
