Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly establish rapport with various teams, effectively communicating the complexities of security to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Implement cybersecurity infrastructure and controls, enhancing detection capabilities and improving event correlation across large organizations.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application domains, utilizing big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience guiding clients through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • Proven experience in achieving system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization.
  • Familiarity with the engineering and integration of security controls and data-centric architectures to facilitate secure information sharing based on role and need-to-know principles.
  • Understanding of systems and software engineering management processes, particularly as they relate to Department of Defense acquisition processes throughout all lifecycle phases.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • IASAE II Certification, including CASP+ CE, CISSP or Associate, or CSSLP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Zero Trust architectures.
  • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and their interpretation.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
  • Understanding of Army or Department of Defense communication, cybersecurity, and IT systems.
  • Ability to apply cybersecurity engineering methodologies to the solutions development lifecycle and research emerging technologies.
  • Excellent presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is advantageous.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity is a plus.
  • IASAE III Certification, including CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, or CCSP.

Clearance Requirements:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
