Job Title: Senior Tax Leadership Position in Texas

This highly sought-after tax leadership role involves:

  • Strategically planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects to manage client engagements while effectively controlling time and expenses.
  • Developing and delivering advanced tax planning techniques tailored to meet clients' unique needs.
  • Identifying new opportunities from potential and existing clients and recommending suitable additional services.
  • Communicating and interacting with clients' advisors to build strong relationships.
  • Supporting clients with management of state and federal tax audits and negotiating optimal tax positions.
  • Recognizing technical issues and conducting thorough research to reach informed conclusions.
  • Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including identification and documentation of uncertain tax positions.
  • Leading and supervising staff and seniors, providing them with valuable career guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in private equity or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with 704B and 704C allocation requirements.
  • Proven skills in waterfall allocation provision.
  • Strong buy-and-sell side experience.
  • Familiarity with oilfield service operations.
  • Public accounting compliance and advisory expertise.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
