We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiology Technician to join our team of audiologists in conducting hearing evaluations, fitting hearing aids, and providing follow-up care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic tests under the direction of audiologists
- Assist with fitting and programming hearing aids
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of hearing aids
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care
- Educate patients on hearing aid use and care
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of audiology clinic
- Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Stay current with new technologies and advancements in the audiology field
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training in audiology preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a clinical audiology setting
- Knowledge of audiology equipment and procedures
- Experience with hearing aid testing, fitting, and maintenance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for helping individuals with hearing loss
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish a plus
