We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in Springfield, MO.

Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our critically ill patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a PRN/Per Diem/As Needed position, working nights, with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care services for patients
  • Answer patient lights and provide timely services to enhance patient well-being
  • Participate in hourly rounds to ensure patient needs are met
  • Transport patients to and from treatment centers, assisting transporters as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment, and patient rooms
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years)
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field
