Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Pharmacy Technician Educator to join our team at Nevada Career Institute. As a Pharmacy Technician Educator, you will be responsible for teaching and implementing the curriculum for our Pharmacy Technician program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Implementation: Teach and implement the total curriculum for the Pharmacy Technician program, as assigned by and under the direction and supervision of your direct supervisor.
  • Student Activities and Progress: Plan and assign student activities in the classroom and/or clinical settings, and maintain records of student progress and performance, attendance, and grades.
  • Examinations and Assessments: Prepare, administer, and grade written and practical examinations during the course of study.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Devise written lesson plans and implement them through lecture, demonstration, discussion, etc.
  • Student Support and Guidance: Discuss with students their concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to the learning experience.
  • Professional Development: Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the Program Director or her designee, and assist in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
  • Student Progress and Attendance: Monitor student progress and attendance, and provide a professional role model for students.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3 years' experience in the field of pharmacy or a related field.
  • Certification and Education: PT Certification License and a High School Diploma or equivalent.
