Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Illinois. This is a full-time position, and the SLP will work on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders, promoting effective communication and academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social progress, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development activities as required, staying current with best practices and industry developments.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Current certification of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
