Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with nursing procedures to ensure patient comfort and wellbeing.
- Conduct patient interviews and gather medical histories.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform simple treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
- Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, while ensuring safe and appropriate use of medical equipment.
- Prepare examination and treatment supplies, and assist during patient evaluations and procedures.
- Manage electronic health records and respond to patient inquiries effectively.
Patient Care: You will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care tailored to diverse patient populations. This includes:
- Adapting care delivery to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintaining a clean and organized environment for patient care.
- Providing education to patients focused on health promotion and disease prevention.
Administrative Duties: In addition to direct patient care, you will support administrative functions by:
- Ensuring medical supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
- Participating in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Documenting attendance in continuing education programs to enhance your skills.
Qualifications: We seek candidates who are graduates of an accredited RN program and possess computer literacy. Preferred qualifications include:
- Six months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Urology setting.
