Job Overview

Prolink is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Travel Nurse Specialist to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver exceptional patient care.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various healthcare settings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and medical histories
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, lab results, and medication administration
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate communication among healthcare providers
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and symptom management
  • Evaluating patient responses to treatments and adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience
  • Strong understanding of medical software and equipment, including electronic health records (EHRs) and ventilators
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines
