Pain Management Physician Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our team at Purple Cow Recruiting in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients struggling with chronic pain.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pain medicine, with experience in interventional procedures and medication management. A clear and active license in the state of employment, along with board certification in chronic pain or pain medicine BC/BE, is essential. While a residency in Anesthesia is preferred, it is not necessary.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary around $400k per year, with total compensation exceeding $500k due to incentives. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan with a 4% match. Additionally, we provide up to $2,500 for CME expenses.

As a Pain Management Physician, you will be responsible for assessing patients with chronic pain, developing personalized treatment plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Your primary goal will be to alleviate chronic pain and improve the overall quality of life for your patients.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assessing patients with chronic pain disorders to determine the underlying causes and develop effective treatment plans
  • Coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal pain management and wellness
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in pain medicine to provide evidence-based care
