Job Title: CSA QA/QC Inspector

Job Summary:

As a CSA QA/QC Inspector, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our construction projects meet rigorous quality standards.

Your expertise will support our commitment to excellence and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans and procedures that align with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and structural elements. Perform site inspections, laboratory tests, and field evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  3. Manage quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance certificates. Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and readily available for project audits and reviews.
  4. Identify defects or deficiencies in construction work. Collaborate with the construction team to implement corrective actions, providing detailed reporting and follow-up to ensure effective resolution.
  5. Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Stay informed of changes in building codes and industry best practices.
  6. Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and met. Facilitate regular communication to address quality issues.
  7. Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality standards and procedures, fostering a culture of quality awareness and compliance.
  8. Prepare detailed reports on QA/QC activities, including non-conformance reports, corrective action plans, and final quality assessments, essential for project audits and evaluations.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance overall construction quality. Review past projects and integrate lessons learned into future practices.
Requirements:
  • Certified Welder Inspector (CWI) certification.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction and steel industries.
  • Strong understanding of CSA standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
