Road Mechanic

Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL license may be required in some locations).
