Cancer Patient Navigator Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Patient Navigator to join our team at Tidalands Health. As a Patient Navigator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that cancer patients receive timely, patient-centered care. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Navigate newly diagnosed cancer patients from surrounding communities to receive timely care at the Tidalands Health Cancer Center Network
- Create trusting relationships with patients and communicate closely with their entire care team
- Aid patients in coordinating appointments, decreasing barriers to timely cancer care, and increasing access to high-quality cancer care for underserved patients
- Address any relevant insurance concerns or issues by connecting patients with appropriate financial resources and team members
- Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
- At least 5 years of hospital nursing experience, outpatient preferred
- At least 2 years of professional experience in an oncology or outpatient infusion setting required
- Previous patient navigation experience preferred
Tidalands Health offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more.
