Job Summary

Boeing is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Installation Specialist to join our team in Renton or Everett, WA. As an electrician in this position, you will play a vital role in the installation of electrical systems, equipment, wire bundle installation, and assemblies in various stages of the aircraft assembly process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a computer in a production environment to access technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Route, clamp, and tie wire bundles according to specified wire paths shown on drawings.
  • Install and connect necessary equipment, ground studs, bonding straps, and connectors.
  • Install various assemblies such as blankets, seats, stowbins, floor panels, etc.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment based on the task being performed.
  • Operate mechanical lifts, including scissors lifts and elevated work platforms.
  • Utilize various tools such as screwdrivers, power screwdrivers, ratchet wrenches, nut runners, drills, wire cutters, wire crimps, soldering guns, and other hand tools.
  • Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints, and special finishes.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD) after testing requirements are met.
  • Engage in frequent activities such as handling (holding, grasping), kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking (3-6 hours).
Requirements
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly installation.
  • 1+ years of experience with safety process and/or procedures in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of an electrical trade school program or have military related electrical experience.
  • 1+ years of experience as an Electrician or Apprentice.
  • Enrolled in a Boeing partnered manufacturing related high school or community and technology college academic program.
