Program OverviewOur RN Residency Program is a year-long program designed to provide new graduate nurses with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's hospital environment. The program includes:
- Advanced clinical training in a specialty area
- Monthly educational sessions
- Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor
- Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations
- Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders
- Working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project
As an RN Resident, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. You will work collaboratively with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients and their families.
QualificationsTo be eligible for our RN Residency Program, you must have a registered nurse license or be a graduate nurse in the state. You will also need to obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment. Some travel may be required for training.
