About the ProgramOur year-long program is designed to provide you with the tools and skills necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. You'll work alongside experienced nurse educators and mentors, gaining hands-on experience and developing valuable clinical and critical thinking skills.
What to Expect- Advanced clinical training in a specialty area
- Monthly educational sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills
- Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor to guide you through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse
- Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations
- Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders to support your growth and development
- Working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project to apply your skills in a real-world setting

To be eligible for the Nurse Residency Program, you must:
- Hold a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Hold an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Be a Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Have no previous experience needed
- Be willing to travel for training
