Briggs & Stratton is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in a cost-efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement production systems.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers to determine application requirements.
- Evaluate current technologies for cost reduction and product improvement.
- Monitor facility metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- One year of engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
