Job Description

This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional to oversee daily operations and lead a team of dedicated staff in Waco, Texas. As Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards in food quality, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, including inventory management, order supplies, and control costs.
  • Analyze Profit and Loss statements and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules to align with sales volume.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety practices and health regulations.
  • Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
  • Protect company assets and adhere to control procedures.
  • Lead and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and high morale.
  • Implement local store marketing initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High School Diploma; some college is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of restaurant General Manager experience in full-service casual dining.
  • Must be ServSafe certified.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong understanding of P&L analysis, cash controls, and food cost calculations.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer-based programs and systems, including Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver's license and current car insurance.
  • Must pass a background check.
