Endoscopy Care Nurse

A healthcare client in Mount Kisco, NY seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for their Endoscopy Care team. This temporary role involves providing patient care, assisting in procedures, and supporting education.
Compensation and Benefits
$37 per hour
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in person and via telephone, adhering to established protocols and best practices.
- Procedure Assistance: Support physicians or providers during clinical procedures, ensuring a smooth and safe process for both patients and staff.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and seamless care, resulting in optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions, care plans, and clinical data within medical records.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Licensure: Current New York State LPN license with active registration, in good standing.
- Experience: 1 year of experience as an LPN, or 2 years as a Medical Assistant (preferably in endoscopy care).
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Attributes: Strong patient care skills, excellent communication abilities, and a reliable employment record or favorable references.
