Medical Transcriptionist

As a Medical Transcriptionist at Preferred Dermatology Partners, you will be responsible for transcribing diagnostic information into the laboratory information system (LIS) with high accuracy and attention to detail. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. You will work closely with dermatopathologists to ensure accurate and timely transcription of diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe diagnostic information into the LIS with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work closely with dermatopathologists to ensure accurate and timely transcription of diagnostic results.
• Assist in day-to-day tasks such as coordinating send-out and receipt of consult specimens, communication of unexpected findings, and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent typing skills, proficient with computers.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
