The Texas Tech University Health Science Center is a leading healthcare provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and medical services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves assisting physicians in various medical procedures, including examinations, treatments, and discharges. You will also be responsible for preparing treatment rooms, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist patients during medical procedures, providing emotional support and comfort when needed
- Clean and disinfect equipment, restock supplies, and maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the facility
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
