- Physician Shift Times: 7 AM - 7 PM; 7 PM - 7 AM
- Physician Coverage Hours: 24 pediatric hours
- Advanced Practice Clinician Coverage: None in pediatric area
- Scribe Support: None in pediatrics
- EMR Usage: EPIC for patient charting and order entry
- Admitting Orders Responsibility: ED Physicians are not responsible for writing orders
- Trauma Center Designation: Level 1 for both pediatric and adult care
Board and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification: ABP Certified/Eligible within 2 years of program completion, PEM boards required
- Certifications Needed: ATLS, PALS
- Health Requirements: Flu, TB/PPD tests required
