About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Teammate to join our team at All-Tex Pipe and Supply in Dallas, TX. As a Warehouse Teammate, you will be responsible for:

  • Counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
  • Stocking and maintaining the warehouse, and picking, documenting, and packing customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
  • Acting with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handling all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forwarding appropriate paperwork to designated employees to handle.
  • Identifying nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and storing them in proper warehouse locations.
  • Completing necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carriers.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, operating warehouse forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Informing immediate supervisors of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
  • Ensuring security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety.
  • Assisting coworkers in servicing customers.
  • Performing all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
  • Successfully completing required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.

About You

  • 1 year of warehouse receiving and material handling experience.
  • Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center is preferred.

  • Can learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
  • Can read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
