Montessori Elementary Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Elementary Teacher to join our collaborative community of professionals at Willow Oak Montessori. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a classroom colleague to create a peaceful and engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implement Montessori lessons in alignment with the North Carolina State Standards
• Guide students through hands-on materials and activities, catering to diverse learning styles
• Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and the community

Requirements:

• Elementary Montessori credentials from a MACTE-accredited training program
• Bachelor's Degree
• NC K-6 Elementary Education Teacher License (strongly preferred)
• 3-5 years of teaching experience in a Montessori classroom (preferred)
