DevSecOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at AltaOne Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Secure DevOps Practices: Develop and maintain secure DevOps practices and processes across the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the integration of security into every aspect of the software development process.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and to ensure the implementation of security best practices.
- Develop and Maintain Security Tools: Develop and maintain automated security testing and monitoring tools to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and to ensure the continuous integration and deployment of secure software.
- Conduct Security Assessments and Code Reviews: Conduct thorough security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Security Trends: Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address potential security risks, and to ensure the implementation of effective security solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience with security testing tools and techniques, cloud computing platforms, and relevant certifications.
This is a full-time exempt position, with a salary range of $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently or as part of a team, handle multiple priorities, and maintain professionalism under stress.
