Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-time Information Assistant. This role will provide administrative support to our Convention and Visitors Bureau, assisting with events and office duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors and clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Operate office equipment, including copiers, printers, and fax machines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and security protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working approximately 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
