About the Position:
The Army Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) is a pivotal organization within the Army, dedicated to the advancement and production of military vehicles and armaments. As a leader in defense manufacturing, TACOM plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of the Army.

Responsibilities
As the Financial Resource Coordinator, you will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for TACOM, overseeing an Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) activity.

Your primary duties will include:
  • Providing comprehensive financial oversight, budget management, and resource allocation to enhance the efficiency of TACOM's operations.
  • Acting as the principal advisor and technical expert to senior leadership on all financial management matters.
  • Leading the development, coordination, and assessment of an effective resource management program.
  • Directing and supervising the work of subordinate teams to ensure optimal performance and accountability.
  • Establishing performance metrics, evaluating supervisory staff, and reviewing assessments conducted by subordinate managers.

Qualifications
To qualify, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience, which includes:
  • Executing financial strategies or managing programs related to accounting, budgeting, finance, and financial reporting.
  • Developing and implementing fiscal policies and procedures for an organization.
  • Overseeing budget formulation, execution, and compliance across multiple financial programs.
  • Leading resource management initiatives, including personnel and program management.

This experience should be reflective of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated based on your competencies in:
  • Budget Administration
  • Financial Management
  • Leadership
  • Stakeholder Management
