Key Responsibilities:

Typical duties include:
  • Assessing and evaluating the administration of information and protection initiatives.
  • Understanding security policy requirements and national policies related to critical infrastructure protection.
  • Influencing stakeholders to adopt security enhancement recommendations and collaborate towards mutual solutions.
  • Preparing and delivering reports and briefings to senior officials, advising on advancements in security techniques and procedures.

Employment Conditions:
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Completion of initial online assessments may be necessary.
  • All federal employees must participate in Direct Deposit for salary payments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements.
  • May require a one-year probationary period.
  • This role may be designated as essential personnel.
  • A pre-employment drug test is required.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate relevant experience:

For GS-13 level:
At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level, including analyzing and assessing critical infrastructure security processes.

For GS-14 level:
At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level, advising on security improvements to reduce vulnerabilities.
