About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Associate to join our team at Coffee Regional Medical Center.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Associate provides direct care to patients under the supervision of licensed personnel. This includes assisting with daily living activities, vital sign monitoring, and providing a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assists patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Takes vital signs and monitors patient behavior and physical condition.
  • Maintains a safe and clean environment by cleaning patient rooms and stocking supplies.
  • Transports patients and assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Provides emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • PCT I certification preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations and communicate goals and outcomes.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic computer literacy and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Working Conditions

The Patient Care Associate works in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is exposed to various hazards, including body fluid exposure. The associate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move freely throughout the facility.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
